I just called them and checked the dish network site I do not see anything like that :confused:
For telugu audience I am aware of 2 such providers. telugumagictv and reliableiptv. I have not tried either. I would have tried them if they had both Hindi and Telugu channels. Does anyone know of an IPTV provider who has both Hindi and Telugu channels. One more thing, the above mentioned 2 provide the STB that can also act as a media player to play all kinds of media from your external USB drive. But I already have WDTV at home.

I want to apply labour with another employer based on future employment and when that labour get approved for how many days it is valid, can i apply I 140 for that labour .
Do i have to take transfer in order to apply for I 140 ?

I filed my EB3 LC Substitution I-140 with the copy of the labor. It has been pending since June 2006.
Mine is not labor substitution though. My lawyer never received the original hardcopy of the labor certification.

Sorry i confused u all...here are my GC Filling details:
LC State: NJ
LC Category: EB2
LC PD: 24 SEP 02
I-140 FD: 15 JUNE 06
I-140 RD: 16 JUNE 06
I-140 LUD: 03 JULY 06
I-140 Receipt# : LIN-06-191-XXXXX
I-140 AD (If any): Still waiting!!!
Concurrent filing: NO
So my PD is 9/24/02. Yeah, i also read 180 days after filling I485 b4 i can leave my current company under AC21.
I guess the best option for me is to
** wait till my get my I140 approves,
** get my H1B extended for another 3 years (instead of 1 stupid year),
** Wait for at least 180 days
then move to another company (if i still get another job offer by then) Correct?? So by then, the new company should be able to transfer my H1B and finish up my GC process? But..but can my old company do anything to jeapodize my GC filling? eg: revoke my LC or I140???
More suggestions and opinions??? :o
Given my PD is 9/2002 (EB2), I won't be affected by the retrogression right? if i am not an India or China citizen.

We need volunteers from anywhere in the country to call up Bay Area members to rustle them into action and attend with us. We don't have the man power to do it all ourselves are getting overwhelmed organizing this.

Hi,
In my case, it was concurrent filling on July 02. I received receipts of I-485, EAD and AP early Aug. However, I never received receipt for I-140. My Lawyer check the encashment of checks and found the LIN number. According to that number, my case was approved on Aug 30th.
However, we never received any receipt or notice of approval for my I-140. Thus, not sure, if everything is correct. My lawyer has promised me to check with USCIS guys and get more concrete information soon.

Received card production ordered email today!!!
For all those whose spouses are in F1 status do not worry
I applied through my husband(EB3 July 2004) and i was on F1 when i applied with him. Got funding through F1. Did not use 485 EAD.
Graduated but did not apply for OPT and started using 485-EAD to work.
Well... one more thing our lawyer forgot to include our BC while applying.
Actually he had them when he mailed them initially in DEC 2004 but got rejected and after he came back from vacation in March 05 he reapplied based on the rejected mail in Dec 04 and its then when he forgot to include BC.
I was ver scared reading about F1 being non immigrant visa blah blah... and should not apply for GC..blah blah..unfortunately i could not find a similar case like me...recently i saw a lot of people applying in F1 ...
I am happy to tell...do not worry if you are on F1 and
do not travel on F1 visa
Do not apply for OPT ( my limited knowledge advice)
Your lawyer knows the best!
Regarding LUDs:
If you guys see LUDs on your cases atleast one...be very happy...that means they are about to give you a green card...

you have to give the H1 qualifying exam (I think Step 3), then you have to apply for Residency in universities. They all call you for personal interview, and the results are announced in mid march. Once you are selected, they'll process H1 for you. If you do not have step 3 cleared, then they'll process J1 visa for you. Most of these universities come under non-profit so, H1 quota is not a issue for them.

guys have a question for u..
i'm invoking Ac21 and joining new employer.. but new employer is telling me that they dont want me to take any steps untill the H1 transfer is approved and in hand, and I have to give 2 weeks notice to my current employer after the approval..
now the question is that, after the approval will I be eligible to work for my older company for those 2 weeks since the H1 is already approved/transfered to the new employer?? has anyone faced such situation??...

I had the same issue. Still awaiting my AP which was applied in Nov 2008.
When I called up TSC where my application was filed, they kept insisting that they have really mailed it and they cannot issue it again unless they receive the AP saying it is undelivered.
I am sure my address is correct as per their records. I got my EAD delivered at the same address without any issue.
Finally I called them again, this time I talked to a more knowledgeable accommodating IO.
Keep calling the service center till you get an instruction similar to the following.
This is the instruction provided
----------------------------------------------------------
Fill out I-131 Application or use the copy of your original application
attach two photos
Mention the receipt no on the top of the form
Also mention REPLACEMENT : no Fees included
Add a covering letter explaining the situation
Post it to the following address
USCIS Texas Service Center
ADDRESS ( This is a special address, This not the standard USCIS address)
On Lower Left corner of the envelope mention:
do Not open in the mail room, No fees are attached
------------------------------------------------------------------
I am still awaiting my AP after doing this. :confused:

Payroll tax is same as employer tax. There are 2 or 3 components of the taxes that employer pays such as Social security ( employer portion), unemployment tax, Medicare ( employer portion)
also employer will need to pay for payroll company such as ADP a fee to maintain payroll, do filings
Thanks Surabhi......So does my assumption correct in terms of the percent tax an employer pays which is between 8 to 12% depending on the state he is operating which inlcudes all the components you mentioned except the payroll company fee(i,e ADP or intuit or etc)? The reason I ask this is b'coz I am also planning to work on W2.

Could you shed some more light to extend without going out of country. I dont want to go through the same process which I did for H1B extension (thru I-129) due to the recent amendment.
